Fiberglass Pools

Fiberglass pools are manufactured and installed as a large molded structure that is placed in the ground. The large pre-fabricated bucket or shell is then surrounded by a strong reinforcement such as concrete that will assist to keep the shell in place.

Fiberglass pools also do not have a liner because the shell is sprayed with a specially designed coating. A wide range of models with different sizes, colors and shapes are available in pools made out of fiberglass.

Fiberglass pools are praised for being relatively easy and quick to install, although a large truck and most often a crane is needed to transport and move them.

Fiberglass pools are also relatively simple to maintain. Many consumers appreciate the fact that there will never be a need to replace a liner while others appreciate that you generally use less chemicals with them.
